The car is accompanied by a substantial history file, including: organised invoices in date order, MOT certificates dating back to 1998, The original Jaguar bookpack, containing the Owner's Guide, UK Road Map, XJS/XJS-C handbook and Service Record & Warranty booklet. The Model:

Introduced in 1983, the XJ-SC 3.6 featured Jaguar’s new AJ6 straight-six engine and a unique fixed-profile convertible body. A Targa-style configuration, it sported removable roof panels over the front seats and a folding rear hood section. This made it a distinctive two-seater variant, instantly recognisable by its raised bonnet centre section. Of the 5,013 Cabriolets built between 1982 and 1988, only approximately 1,598 were Right Hand Drive. Today, just 100 remain registered on UK roads, making this a truly scarce model.
