The Model:

The Triumph Spitfire is an iconic British sports car, styled by Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti and produced over five iterations between 1962 and 1980. The 1500 variant, introduced in 1975, featured the most refined and powerful engine in the model's history, along with improvements such as reclining seats, a wood dash, column-mounted controls, and electric screen washers. Weighing 1,875 lb, the 1980 Spitfire represents the heaviest yet and most developed version of the model before production ceased in August of the same year.
