Inside, the car continues the retro theme with period-correct front bucket seats, original Mk2 rear seats and a 100mph Smiths-style speedometer. This Mini underwent a full restoration using genuine Heritage body panels . Mechanically, this Mini is highly impressive. The 1275cc engine has been fully rebuilt with new pistons, a re-ground crankshaft, skimmed head and all new pumps, bearings and gaskets. Performance upgrades include a Swiftune SW5 camshaft, twin HS2 SU carburettors with K&N pancake filters, and an LCB manifold paired with an RC40 exhaust system — all contributing to a lively and responsive driving experience. The gearbox has also been fully rebuilt with new bearings, bulk rings, a new clutch and a 3.44 final drive. The car currently holds an MOT with no advisories valid until 6th May 2026.
