Owned by The Vendor for the last year, this example has been extensively restored and presents fantastically as a result. With its iconic colour combination, purposeful stance and legendary hot hatch reputation, this is a particularly appealing example of one of the defining hot-hatches of it's era.

The Model:

The Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9 is widely regarded as one of the greatest hot hatches of all time. Introduced in late 1986 and produced until 1994, the 1.9-litre model used Peugeot’s XU9JA engine, offering increased torque and stronger straight-line performance over its 1.6-litre sibling. With its featherweight construction, sharp analogue steering and wonderfully balanced chassis, the 205 GTi became a benchmark for driver involvement. Weighing around 875kg and capable of 0–62mph in approximately 7.8 seconds, it remains one of the most celebrated performance hatchbacks of the 1980s and 1990s.
