A stunning, low-mileage example of the X150-generation Jaguar XK Convertible, finished in Liquid Silver Grey Metallic with a Navy Blue soft top over a Cream leather interior. Owned by the Vendor for the last year and a half, the car has six former keepers and has covered a genuine 40,688 miles from new.

Maintenance & Condition:

The XK has evidently been maintained to a high standard, with much of the work entrusted to independent Jaguar specialists Dorset Sports Cars. Its comprehensive history file contains a wealth of invoices relating to servicing, replacement parts and ongoing maintenance.

History:

Accompanying the car is its original leather-bound Jaguar bookpack, containing the Owner’s Handbook, Warranty Benefits Guide, Navigation System booklet, Audio Connectivity Module Book, Service Portfolio and Quick Start Guide. The Service Portfolio displays 14 stamps for services carried out between 2009 at 10,088 miles and 2023 at 38,036 miles. The history file also includes previous MOT certificates and purchase invoices documenting several changes of ownership.

The Model:

Unveiled at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show, the second-generation XK was styled under Jaguar’s chief designer, Ian Callum, with its distinctive oval grille recalling the legendary E-Type. The X150 introduced bonded and riveted aluminium construction to Jaguar’s grand tourer range, making it approximately 91kg lighter than its predecessor and delivering improvements in performance, handling and efficiency. The cabin combined traditional Jaguar luxury with a more contemporary design, while steering-column-mounted gearshift paddles added to the sporting character. In standard form, the XK was electronically limited to a top speed of approximately 158mph, firmly establishing it as a refined yet capable grand tourer.
