A very clean and well-presented example of Maserati’s flagship performance saloon, finished in an elegant dark metallic blue over a contrasting tan leather interior. The Quattroporte combines unmistakable Italian styling with genuine four-door practicality, while the naturally aspirated V8 provides the character and performance for which this generation is renowned.

This 2007 example is particularly desirable as the Quattroporte Automatic, pairing the 4.2-litre V8 with the smoother six-speed ZF automatic transmission.

Maintenance & Condition:

The car presents very well throughout, with the exterior paintwork, alloy wheels and tan leather cabin appearing smart and well cared for. The sculpted leather seating, wood-trimmed steering wheel and traditional Maserati detailing give the interior a particularly luxurious feel.

History:

The Model:

Designed by Pininfarina, the fifth-generation Maserati Quattroporte blended the proportions and presence of a traditional luxury saloon with the performance character expected of the Maserati name.

Its 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 produces around 400bhp, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed ZF automatic transmission. Contemporary performance figures placed 0–62mph in the region of the mid-five-second range, with a top speed approaching 170mph.

The Automatic introduced a more conventional and refined transmission arrangement than the earlier DuoSelect cars, making it particularly well suited to the Quattroporte's dual role as both an executive saloon and a sporting grand tourer. Skyhook adaptive suspension further contributes to its blend of ride comfort and responsive handling.
